Administration access

Administration access concerns accounts that sign in to your project's back office. Each environment has its own accounts. Start from Access and select the environment concerned.

Before you start — Identify the environment and the person who needs back-office access. Prepare their name, email and password through the intended account process. The first administration access owns that environment; protected roles and test accounts have different available actions.

Review administration accounts

Inspect the accounts of the intended installation before creating, resetting or withdrawing access.

  1. Open Access.
  2. Choose Development, Staging or Production.
  3. Read the account name, Status and Last login.
  4. Confirm the account and environment before selecting an action.

An account visible in development is not proof that the same administration login exists in production.

Create an administration access

Create access for the person concerned and verify the resulting record in the same environment.

  1. Click Create access.
  2. Enter First name, Last name and Email.
  3. Enter Password with at least eight characters.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Return to the same environment's list and check the new account.

The first access in an environment becomes its owner; later accesses are members. An email already used in that environment is refused.

A reviewer who needs production administration must have an access in production. Creating the account in development provides a different context. Check the chosen environment and role before sharing access instructions or interpreting a sign-in failure.

Reset an account password

Reset the selected account’s password using two matching entries and the displayed requirement.

  1. Find the account in the correct environment.
  2. Click Reset password.
  3. Enter New password.
  4. Repeat it in Confirm the password.
  5. Click Reset the password and read the result.

The two entries must match and meet the displayed password requirement. Follow the account's normal sign-in process with the new value.

Remove an access

Review the person and permitted action before confirming withdrawal of an ordinary administration access.

  1. Click Delete on the account concerned.
  2. Review Name and Email on the confirmation page.
  3. Under Confirm removal, click Remove access when you intend to withdraw access.
  4. Return to the list and check the resulting state.

The resulting access state is checked in the environment’s list.

Important — The project owner cannot be removed from this screen. Protected test accounts do not offer these ordinary account actions. Public customer registration is managed separately in Settings.
