Infrastructure

Your project is hosted across three environments — DEV, STAGE and PROD. From Infrastructure you see each environment's status and the services that make it up, pause or resume your test environments, inspect and resize the servers and network behind each, and review what it all costs. Open Infrastructure to start.

Before you start — PROD is always on. DEV and STAGE run on shared infrastructure and are billed by the hour, so you can pause them to save cost. Some actions have a short cooldown between them.

See your environments

  1. Open InfrastructureOverview. The switcher at the top shows your three environments — DEV, STAGE, PROD; click one to see its detail.
  2. The selected environment shows its status — Online, Offline or Not provisioned — and a Services block linking to its back office, workspace, documentation, and (if your plan includes them) website and API.
  3. The Infrastructure box shows the tier, the network gateway, the cores and RAM per service (web, database, media, worker, task), and the total — a monthly price for PROD, an hourly price for DEV and STAGE.

Note — DEV and STAGE always run on shared infrastructure; only PROD carries the tier you chose during set-up.

Pause or resume a test environment

Pause DEV or STAGE to stop its hourly charges; resume it when you need it.

  1. On InfrastructureOverview, select the environment (DEV or STAGE) and click its status action — Suspend if it's online, Start if it's offline.
  2. Confirm on the page that opens.

The change is requested and the status updates; billing pauses while the environment is suspended.

Note — PROD is always on and can't be suspended. You can act on an environment once every 5 minutes — if you just did, wait the few minutes shown before the button works again.

Inspect your servers

  1. Open InfrastructureServers. Use the DEV / STAGE / PROD switcher to pick an environment.
  2. Servers are grouped by function — Database, Web, Media, Worker, Task. Each lists its instances with their Core, RAM and Network.

Tip — On PROD you can change the hosting tier from here with Edit.

Resize a server

  1. On InfrastructureServers, click Edit on a server's row.
  2. Choose a plan — each shows its cores, RAM and network, with a price (hourly for DEV/STAGE, monthly for PROD). Your current one is marked Current plan.
  3. Click Save.

The resize is requested and applied shortly after.

Note — On standard infrastructure you can only scale up, not down — lower plans aren't selectable.

Check your network

  1. Open InfrastructureNetwork. Pick an environment with the switcher.
  2. The Gateway shows its status and its throughput, in Mbps.

Tip — Use Edit to change the gateway plan (editable on production).

Review your costs

  1. Open InfrastructureBilling.
  2. The recap shows the current period's cost per environment and the total. PROD is a fixed Monthly subscription; DEV and STAGE are billed by the hour — you only pay for them while they're powered on.
  3. The table at the bottom details each billed period — Environment, billing mode, Period, Duration and Amount. A session that's still running shows In progress and accrues live.
